TAPTITE II® TRILOBULAR™ Fasteners
TAPTITE II® TRILOBULAR™ thread-rolling screws roll-form strong, high integrity
threads in drilled, punched or cored holes in ductile metals and
castings. As each lobe of a TAPTITE II® screw moves through the pilot
hole in the nut material, it forms and work-hardens the nut thread metal
producing an uninterrupted grain flow. By elastic recovery, metal fills
in behind the lobe, providing a greater area of thread contact with
exceptional vibration resistance and fastening strength.

TAPTITE 2000® Fasteners
TAPTITE 2000® fasteners are designed to provide the benefits of prior Taptite®
fastener products with an innovative new thread design - the Radius
Profile™ Thread. The proven Trilobular™ principle is maintained while
incorporating the Radius Profile™ thread. The result is a new generation
of TAPTITE 2000® fasteners, which provides excellent mechanical,
assembly, and ergonomic characteristics surpassed by no other
technology.

POWERLOK® TRILOBULAR™ Fasteners
POWERLOK® TRILOBULAR™ thread-locking screws incorporate unique threads
dimensioned to provide locking in tapped holes. A 30° thread-locking
crest is superimposed on the normal 60° thread. This design, including a
short tapered lead, allows hand starting in a tapped hole, adjustment
and alignment of parts, and an exceptionally powerful locking action.

PLASTITE® TRILOBULAR™ Fasteners
PLASTITE® TRILOBULAR™ threadrolling screws were developed specifically for use in
plastics. They combine a unique TRILOBULAR™ cross-sectional form with
deep, wide, spaced threads. Three swaging lobes with full relief of the
thread form reduce driving effort and operator fatigue. The three-lobed
design of PLASTITE® screws takes full advantage of the cold flow
characteristics of many plastics by allowing plastic material to recover
and fill in between the lobes. This establishes maximum resistance to
vibrational loosening. In addition, the screws’ deep, coarsely-spaced
threads provide a heavier shear area and deeper thread engagement in the
plastic, further enhancing holding capabilities.

REMFORM® Screws
REMFORM® Screws Designed Primarily for Plastic Applications The REMFORM® Screw
is a thread rolling fastener with a unique thread form to provide
superior performance in today’s wide range of plastics. The asymmetrical
thread minimizes radial hoop stress to reduce boss bursting. The narrow
tip angle also reduces stress in the plastic nut member.

FASTITE® 2000™ Fasteners
FASTITE® 2000™ thread forming screws were developed to create strong mechanical
joints with excellent thread engagement into untapped thin sheets, while
providing the "LOWER IN-PLACE COST SAVINGS" associated with TRILOBULAR™
thread forming screws. FASTITE® 2000™ screws result in a cost-effective
joint with increased failure torque and resistance to stripping, when
compared to other fastener types and assemblies.

The TRU-START® Standard Fastener
Cross threading - it occurs every day in many factories as products are
assembled with threaded fasteners. At some sites it is so common that
for the more troublesome applications, special repair screws of the same
pitch, but one size larger in diameter are stocked for replacement
purposes. The rework and repair costs can be huge, but are often
accepted as standard operating procedure. Now, there is a fastener
designed to prevent cross threading and its associated costs - The
TRU-START® fastener. The unique TRU-START® point design not only
prevents cross threading in tapped holes, but also locates and aligns
the fastener when entering a tapped hole. The absence of threads along
one side of the fastener prevents the fastener from engaging more...

MAThread Standard Fastener
MAThread and MATpoint are threaded fasteners used widely throughout industry for
improving product assembly. Their unique ability to prevent fastener
jamming, while improving ergonomics have led them to become the
preferred World Standards at General Motors, Chrysler, and Mercedes
Benz.
